I can only guess that the picture on the left is at least 25’x30′. that’s 750 sq. ft! now see how high the ceiling is… probably 12 feet tall! so I would recommend getting a purifier that could cover 4 more feet of the ceiling over the standard height of 8′. the math would look like this… 750+375=1126sq.ft. The extra 375 is for the ceiling being 4 feet taller than the standard 8 feet, so we added on half of 750.
I hope you understand this little math lesson! An air purifier that covers 1100 sq ft would probably work great in this example.

Can HEPA air purifiers capture the coronavirus?
HEPA air purifiers are capable of capturing the coronavirus, along with other types of airborne particles such as dust, pollen, and bacteria. The high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter used in these devices can trap particles as small as 0.3 microns, including the virus responsible for COVID-19. However, it is important to note that air purifiers alone cannot completely prevent the spread of the virus, and should be used in conjunction with other safety measures such as wearing masks, social distancing, and practicing good hygiene.
Additionally, it is recommended to choose an air purifier with a high Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) and to regularly clean and replace the filter to ensure maximum effectiveness. Overall, while HEPA air purifiers are helpful in improving indoor air quality and reducing the risk of airborne transmission, they should not be relied upon as the sole means of protection against COVID-19.
Can an air purifier keep me from getting sick?
An air purifier can help improve the air quality in a room, but can it really keep you from getting sick? The answer is not straightforward. It depends on the current air quality in the room, the air changes per hour that the air purifier can provide, and the specific air purifier you choose.
When you use an air purifier, the purifier will clean the air by pulling the surrounding air into the machine and filtering out any dirty air. Depending on the air quality in the room, the air purifier may need to be run continuously to maintain quality air. For a powerful air purifier, it’s best to put the purifier in the best place to put an air purifier, where it can circulate air throughout the room.
To keep the air clean in your home, we recommend using an air purifier and monitoring the air quality in real time. This way, you can check in on the air quality and make changes depending on how dirty the air is. So, to answer the question, can an air purifier keep you from getting sick? While it can’t guarantee that you won’t get sick, an air purifier can help reduce the number of particles in the air that could make you sick.
Where in My Open Concept Room Should I Put My Air Purifier?
When it comes to placing an air purifier in an open concept room, the best location will depend on the size and layout of the space. The aim is to ensure that the air purifier can effectively filter the air in the area it’s placed in, so it should ideally be positioned in the middle of the room. This will create the most optimal airflow throughout the space as it can draw in contaminated air from all angles. In addition, it’s essential to keep the air purifier away from obstructions such as furniture, curtains, or walls. Having an obstruction around the air purifier will reduce its efficiency because it’ll take longer to circulate and purify the air. It’s also suggested to place the air purifier in an area where it won’t be blocked by a sofa, chair, or any other large furniture. Ultimately, the ideal location of an air purifier in an open concept room is in a central position where it’s free to circulate the air and filter all corners of the room.
